Cherrystone is an angel investment group in New England that funds companies in their earliest stages of development. Nimble connected with Ella Hood, Cherrystone's Managing Director, to revamp their digital presence and offerings. Ella vocalized the company's overall unhappiness with the state of its existing website and the need to achieve more. Cherrystone tasked Nimble with transitioning the site to an updated platform and overhauling the site's structure, content, and interactivity.

For the new Cherrystone website, Nimble owner Lexi Geschke and Content Lead Caroline Clark worked closely with the Cherrystone board to gain valuable insight into what was missing from the site experience. Following a series of high-value meetings with sitting board members, Nimble developed a new site strategy to increase engagement and connection, build new leads, and beef up exclusive membership features.

To strengthen the Cherrystone website, Nimble updated the landing page with new sections that better highlighted company value, offerings, case studies, and a defined call to action across pages. The new landing page also features a scenic video with dynamic text overlays manually timed for each transition. In addition, Caol revamped other static pages on the site with new copy and imagery, which increased page value by being more informative and engaging.

New additions to the site included a portfolio page featuring current & exiting companies, a sponsors page, and a new blog section. The recent Cherrystone blog highlights portfolio companies and updates about upcoming events.

As part of the new website's strategy, Caol redesigned the membership page using preexisting tools for a manageable private access area. This page adds site value by giving existing members streamlined access to Cherrystone's essential networking and growth tools.
